Lennon Loop 2016
An annual event in memory of Bob Lennon: a beloved family member, friend, coach, teacher, cyclist, & runner
About the lennon loop
& Why we run
On September 15, 2013, Saint Francis DeSales High School coach and teacher Bob Lennon was killed by a hit and run driver while cycling in Westerville, Ohio. In an effort to commemorate the life of such a dedicated man, the Lennon Loop was born.
We run to build a scholarship worthy of his life’s work and his love and commitment to students and athletes.
All proceeds from the race support the Bob Lennon Memorial Scholarship at St. Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, Ohio.
Logo + T-Shirt Design
This year, I had the honor of creating a logo for this yearly event in memory of Bob Lennon: a beloved family member, friend, coach, teacher, cyclist, & runner. My designs were presented to the event board members who approved them.
We wanted to include the spirit of Saint Francis DeSales High School in the logo, so purple - the high school's primary color - was paired with bright blue, symbolizing faith. The designs will be printed on t-shirts for the event which takes place this summer.
